We recently visited Slice social house and honestly, the first thing we said to ourselves was… why did we wait this long?
Because this version of Slice feels very different from what it used to be.
If you’re new here, hi, we’re choplYfe. We go around Lagos (and Abuja and Port Harcourt) checking out restaurants, lounges, and lifestyle spots, then share our honest experience so you can decide what’s actually worth it.

Slice social house space and ambiance—9/10

The first thing that stands out about Slice Lagos now is how much open and put-together the space feels.
It’s bigger, but more importantly, it feels like they’ve finally figured out how they want people to experience the space. You’re not squeezed in, and you’re not adjusting your seat every minute; there’s room to relax.
One detail that really stood out was the greenery.
It’s not overdone, but it’s enough to completely change the mood of the place. It gives the space a calm, almost refreshing feel, which balances out the usual Lagos restaurant energy.
The overall design is clean, stylish, and intentional. It’s the kind of place that works for casual hangouts, date nights, content creation, or even just a quiet meal
Slice social house food rating – 10/10

You know how a place can look really good, and then the food just doesn’t match up? That wasn’t the case here.
We ordered a few things to get a feel of the menu:
- Beetroot Hummus – ₦13,500
- Smoked Snail in Pepper Sauce – ₦28,000
- Grilled Prawn Linguine – ₦45,000
The beetroot hummus was a good starter. It was light, smooth, and easy to eat.
The smoked snail was rich, spicy, and well-seasoned, especially if you enjoy bold flavors.
The prawn linguine was more of a safe, satisfying option. It’s the kind of dish you order when you want something filling that you know will deliver.
Overall, the menu feels simple but intentional, and more importantly, nothing we ordered felt like a miss.
Drinks at Slice Social House – 9/10

Now, let’s talk about the drinks.
We tried:
- “Cum With Me”—₦22,000
- “Creamy Way” – ₦21,000
And the first thing we noticed was they were strong.
Not in a bad way, just properly made, and they certainly didn’t manage the alcohol to mix the cocktails. You could actually taste what you were drinking, which is refreshing considering how many places water down their cocktails.
(Also, quick heads up — prices are exclusive of tax.)
Slice Lagos customer service review – 8.5/10
Customer service here was smooth and straightforward. The staff were attentive without hovering, and they gave us enough time to enjoy the space without feeling rushed. Orders came out on time, and everything moved at a comfortable pace.
Nothing over the top, just good, consistent service, which honestly goes a long way.
