While that visit was still fresh in our minds, we discovered that Above Lifestyle Lekki is more beautiful, and we decided to go see for ourselves. Naturally, we wanted to see how the Lekki branch compared.

What were our first impressions?
From the outside, Above Lifestyle Lekki looks calm, cute, and even. Nothing prepares you for the layers inside.
Nothing about the entrance overpromises what you’re about to experience, which makes the discovery inside more interesting.
The Lekki branch does not attempt to replicate the Mainland location exactly. Instead, it adapts the Above Lifestyle identity to fit an Island audience,more layered, more fluid, and clearly designed to transition from dining to nightlife without requiring you to change locations.
The sunday buffet experience at Above Lifestyle, Lekki
We went on a Sunday, which turned out to be a genius move because that’s when they host their exclusive buffet service, priced at ₦43,000 per person.
The buffet is well-organized and thoughtfully curated, with enough variety to justify the price point. This is not a token buffet offering added as an afterthought; it is clearly a core part of their Sunday experience.
Portions are generous, replenishment is timely, and the overall pace allows guests to eat comfortably rather than feel rushed.
If you’re considering visiting specifically for the buffet, arriving prepared to fully participate in the experience is advisable; it is designed to be enjoyed at a relaxed, unhurried pace.
Space and ambience—10/10
One of the most impressive aspects of Above Lifestyle Lekki is how the space is structured.
The venue is divided into multiple sections, each serving a distinct purpose while still feeling connected:
- A restaurant area suited for dining and social gatherings
- A lounge that offers a more relaxed, open-air setting
- A nightlife section that functions as a club, particularly active later in the evening
What stands out is how naturally these spaces flow into one another. Guests are not restricted to a single area, and there is no abrupt shift in atmosphere as the day transitions into night. This makes the venue especially convenient for people who want a full experience—dining, drinks, and entertainment—without relocating.
The food (Sunday buffet)—8/10
We visited on a Sunday, when Above Lifestyle Lekki offers a buffet for ₦43,000 per person.
The buffet was properly done. There was enough variety, and the food didn’t feel rushed or carelessly put together. Dishes were hot, refilled on time, and tasted good across the board. Nothing felt like it was there just to fill space.
If you’re coming for the buffet, it’s best to come ready to eat. This isn’t a “light tasting” kind of setup.
Drinks—8/10
We didn’t taste lots of drinks but the one we had [strawberry daiquiri] was solid. The cocktail was properly mixed and not watered down, which is always a good sign. Even as the place got busier, drinks didn’t take too long to arrive.
Customer service—9/10
Customer service stood out for us. The staff was patient and helpful, especially while we moved around and explored different sections of the space [one of them even offered to help us serve our food, despite the self-serving buffet section].
They answered questions clearly and didn’t rush us at any point. Food and drinks came out on time, and plates were cleared without us having to ask. It felt comfortable, not forced.

Above Lifestyle Lekki maintains a structured weekly lineup that adds consistency and variety to the experience:

The food was good, the service was solid, and the space gives you options depending on your mood. If you liked the Ikotun branch, this one is worth checking out. And if you’re just discovering Above Lifestyle, Lekki is a good place to start.
